Placing candles on a table set up is not is not merely a decorative choice; it’s an artful expression that enhances the ambiance and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that turns ordinary occasions into memorable celebrations.

Hereby you may find some valuable tips about candles and their correct use in the context of a dinner.

Invest in excellence: selecting candles for your home, prioritize quality. Opt for exquisite candles that not only provide a warm glow but also resist quick melting, allowing you to savor the moment.

The first lightning of the candles: When it comes to using new candles, avoid lighting them directly before dinner. Instead, light them a few hours prior, allowing them to burn for about 20 minutes and then extinguish them. This way, you give the candles the opportunity to undergo their initial burning, preparing them for optimal performance during the meal. Later, when dinner time arrives, light them again to create the perfect atmosphere you desire. This small preparation ensures that the candles will illuminate your dinner in the most impressive and warm way.

Snuff, Don’t Blow: Did you know that blowing out a candle is not the best – or correct – way to extinguish it? Whether illuminating a cozy moment for yourself or hosting a soirée, there’s an art to it. Forget the casual act of blowing; instead, employ a snuffer—a specialized tool designed for the graceful extinguishing of candles. It’s a small investment that makes a big impact.

The Art of Candlelit Beginnings and Endings : Illuminate the dining table with the glow of candles a few minutes before your guests take their seats, as this serves as a symbolic gesture indicating that the dinner is ready to commence. As the dinner concludes, it’s time to bid farewell to the gentle radiance of the candles. Extinguish them once the dining table is empty, marking the end of the shared experience!
